I’m gonna be honest. LSU has 100% been right there with Arkansas every inning of this series so far. There isn’t a big gap between them and us, and we aren’t playing well at all. We choked the Florida series…had we won Saturday and took 2/3, everybody would be feeling much different about this team. This team has to learn how to finish a tight game like this one and the one last night. That’s the thing holding this team back right now…no late game consistency and finding a way to win.

It’s not just a Frey problem. The bottom 3-4 hitters on this team right now are arse. Kling, Neal, Milam (lately), and Brown and Larson can’t really jump any of them. It’s going to be a problem if no one steps up.

Stovall chose to go the Arky because his dad played for Van Horn @ Northwestern. He missed out on 2023 at LSU so this is his natty.
