My parents are 8 years apart. When I was a kid, I always thought it was the creepiest thing ever. I'd say something like "So when you started college Dad, Mom was only 10 years old. Now obviously being older it isn't at all weird. They were both obsessive engineers and met each other at work so it's basically love at first sight. Nothing wrong with that.

I dated a 34 year old at 43. I initially thought that the age difference might be an issue, but it wasn't at all.

I was 36 and married a 24 year old and it was similar scenario for me. It worked out really well until the cancer got her. Love doesn’t care much about an age gap.
