The 6'8 PF M. Brown from Syracuse is a top notch defender and rebounder that would be nice but given our current roster makeup with Collins, Reed, Chest, Fountain, and Miller I think the 7' center from FAU would be a nice piece, very good analytics tied to both offense and defense. The Rutgers guy is choice #1 but he isn't coming to LSU.

There are still 2 (Zachery, Dondaldson), maybe even 3 or 4 (kid from N Tex and FAU) nice PG's out there, not including Sears, that have 2-3 years experience and well rounded offensively and defensively.

Must admit I'm a little worried about the "motor" and "toughness" associated with both Reed and Miller if they are to be counted on for heavy minutes at the 4 and 5 so we really need a dog vet down low. And most definitely need a vet PG to go along with Givens / Stewart (if he stays). Sears in Cook 2.0 - horrible on D and me first player on O which is not good for lead guard.

Who are you referring to? The only kid from Donaldsonville I can think of is Cam Carter who we got but isn't a point. I don't know the kid from Zachary, maybe you mean Scotlandville and are referring to Beekman, but he isnt in the portal. Trust me I have been checking his Twitter everyday to see if there is a chance we could pull him home. Then I guess you are referring to non local kids Davis and Edwards who while both talented I would not consider either of them point guards.

Goldin would be huge but I can't see how we get him and imagine him and Davis follow May.

I agree with this there is a local high motor kid in the portal DJ Burns averaged 11 boards a game last year., and he played on that Murray State team with Williams, Hill, and Hannibal. LINK
I liked Joe Charles better but he is transferring from UL to Mcneese.

This current team has to have a PG who can score and can distribute for us to have any success, anything else will just be a bonus in my opinion. Going to need significant improvements out of Reed and Ward as well.
