Hindsight is 20/20 when I say that the most ridiculous thing I've seen was the fraudulent 2020 election and then the subsequent J6 narrative. Between those two, it rivals the response to 9/11.

On the bright side, America was designed by our genius founding fathers so that it could manage to sustain even when it was eventually and inevitably run by dumbasses.

On the not-so-bright side, the caliber of dumbasses that are currently in charge have managed to sidestep almost all of the checks and balances put into place by the founders. They've managed to frick up something that was literally designed to be impossible to frick up. It's rather impressive.
