Levin had a great point about this last night.
The very news agencies and courts that are going after Trump for an NDA have certainly used them themselves. There’s nothing illegal about an NDA, and it’s not “hush money.” It’s a legally binding agreement to not disclose information. M&As use them all the time.
The only issue might be the source of the funds, as mentioned.
