They have been fighting the Taliban for the last decade.
THE Leader of Isis K was a contractor at Bagram Air Force Base, a partner of a known Afgan Drug Lord associated with the CIA, and also worked for Chief of Afghanistan Intellegence who was the right hand man of the CIA in Afghanistan.
The "Isis K terrorists" were headed towards the Ukraine Border, did not resist, but threw down their weapons. Under severe interrogation, they cited no religious or political motivation. They said they did it for money... $5800 dollars apiece.
It is public record that Washington has lamented the downturn in Ukraines fortunes and blames it on the support given to Putin by the Russian people, despite the economic sanctions.
AT The Center for Strategic and International Studies, a former CIA official complaining about the Russisn People's support, said the war must be "brought home to the Russian people".

If the US is bringing it to our attention, then they need us to be on edge about it because they have found use for it. And election year.

CIA “backed” organization, just like most cartels

We already know how shady and underhanded our intelligence agencies are. When used in the best interest of our nation, it's a good thing but we also know how untrustworthy our intelligence agencies are. This Russia "terrorist" attack doesn't add up. We can guess at the motive, but aside from the killing of innocents, this attack isn't typical of ideological jihadist.
