For those wondering, yorkie that didn't make it at the emergency vet ended up being 5 vials of antivenom, $4,500.

We haven't paid the bill for the GSP yet since they want to keep him another night. Initial estimate was around $750, with the extra night and fluids and all I wouldn't be surprised if it hits $1,500.

Worth every penny, only wish I would have gotten the little guy to the vet sooner. Today has been a somber day, telling the kids Buddy didn't make it, kicking myself for every thing I can think of.

Appreciate all the information and well wishes this thread has presented. Just needed somewhere to talk about it, wife and kids are so tore up they don't need to see me hurting.
