Check out Rock Island State Park on the south end of lake. It’s a good day hiking all around with lots of waterfalls. You can walk the rocky river bed when the dam is not generating power. Eat at the Rock Island Market at the park entrance

Yep. Beautiful State Park. You can swim down near the lake at the parking lot, or there are shoals up river you can walk around or swim.

If you want to drive around some, you could also go visit Burgess Falls, Old Stone Fort State Park etc.
