Citing the injury doesn't help your case, it hurts it. Bush has now missed significant time in consecutive seasons, which raises serious questions about his durability. I think it's pathetic that we're actually comparing Bush to Leon Washington at this point. Nobody would even think of comparing him to a real RB like Thomas Jones. The guy has been a major disappointment. I actually think his stock is about as low as it's been in his nfl career. People have been citing "potential", but after three years, that argument starts to lose luster. And the Jets have plenty of "star" power with Favre in town and Jones's emergence as top tier RB. They don't need to overpay a guy to come in and do what someone else (Washington) has done a better job at. If they were actually looking to unload him on someone, the Raiders would be where to go. He'd be close to home and Davis always falls for physically talented underachievers. It'd be a horrendous move for the Jets to make.

Supa, you can blame the OL all you want, but why is it that Deuce and Thomas were both able to grind out yards with that same OL. I am sick and tired of people blaming the OL for Bush's lack of running skill/vision. The dude plain sucks at running out of the backfield unless he has 5 yard wide holes to run through like at USC, not to mention he's a pussy.

The OL isn't great at run blocking, but Bush makes them look worse than they are, and if you idiots can't see that, then look at the stats for Pierre Thomas lately and also Deuce before his knee started swelling.

I can think of at least two crucial fourth and 1s when Defensive players blew past the EDGE of the OLine and pulled Pierre down FROM BEHIND before he could gain one yard.

That's pretty pathetic OLine play
