Listening to the wind blow a gale and a wintery mix hit my tent. It's rough out here baws....

You're doing some good work for those boys.

When I was young, we had a Scoutmaster that would take us to do some sort of camping one weekend a month. As I got older, I realized just how much time that man invested into taking us out and teaching us. He was a good man and passed away a few years ago.

He was a Navy veteran and was a civilian military instructor at Ft Leonard Wood an hour away. He had a wealth of knowledge about bushcraft, survival and the outdoors.

Went to a Scout Jamboree at a big park near Jackson, MS in the early 70's. Severe weather hit near us and police and firemen evacuated us to a huge fire station. All of our gear was OK when they took us back.
