There is a VERY plausible theory for cancer that is well accepted as being the biggest reason for the spike and it is because of lack of early detection during COVID when people weren't going to their standard appointments like mammograms, pap smears, colonoscopies, etc.

Early detection is the most powerful weapon against cancer after living a healthy lifestyle and it was taken away from us for too long.
