The rumors got so bad that the family probably felt compelled to release some sort of news.
Well and it didn’t help that the PR for the family were ridiculously dodgy about the whole deal. Especially when they quickly announced King Charles’ cancer diagnosis when his was discovered. It’s like they still haven’t figured out not addressing it feeds the fire.
