Are we expecting LSU to seriously compete for a national championship next year? As long as the program keeps building, McMahon is doing his job.

Also what Wright says sounds nice but it's not that simple. Kentucky had a bunch of vets last year and the year before and they choked early just like this squad.

Jay Wright retired because he knew he couldn’t get guys to stay a develop over 3-4 years with the transfer rules. Yet somehow McMahon is going to crack the code? Next year will be year 3. He’ll have two “3 year players”. Maybe by year six he’ll have five such players and things will REALLY take off.
