re: Why was John Brady fired?

Things I have heard.

I have heard that Brady despised the AAU system and the influence those coaches have. While is probably not that uncommon few coaches are vocal about it and, as I recall, Brady was The result was that it impacted recruiting, as I understand it.

I also heard Brady didn't like schmoozing with the high-dollar boosters and pissed a few of those off.

If those two things are indeed correct then the resulting slide in recruiting translated into declining performance and gave those influential boosters who did not like him the ammo to have him escorted from the building. But also if they are true his departure was probably inevitable. He seems like a different person now, though.

I don't know if those things were a fact, just an often repeated thing back then in the circles I talked with, not real connected.
