There was an adult recently discovered in the Chattahoochee in the ATL area in the trout stream part of it. Atlanta is not out of range for Alligators, however, that section of the hooch is ice cold water running out of the bottom of Lake Lanier, and supposedly too cold for alligators to live. It's obviously not global warming, it's more that wildlife learns to adapt and survive and spread, in my opinion.

Sometimes they come out of hibernation early. We once found one in January in Tensas. He was still so out of it, it was like he was high as shite. He just laid there for two days. Never moved.
