Did this work? I've considered doing that w/ my Verizon network Spypoint. Verizon used to have the best signal of the cell phone carriers in SW AR where I hunt. Unfortunately, some time after buying my first Spypoint camera, Verizon now has a really weak, if any, at my hunting stand. AT&T previously had a really poor signal, but it's signal is now much better than Verizon.

Yeah it works, dirty little secret you can buy them cheap on eBay. The ones with the plastic dome on the end or best. I attach them to a pole or something and put them as high up as I can. Below.
