"The ATF has killed a man in his hometown"

They make it sound like they just picked some guy and said "yep, let's kill him!"

This man was involved with something akin to the cartel/gangs, who got their fangs in him and used him - they also paid him very handsomely despite the fact that he already made $264,000 a year at work. Dude got greedy.

And for the person upthread that said this spans several different fed agencies, the FBI is also involved as is the Marshals. I don't have the minute details but this was a big-time investigation, there's still threads to this that I do not know.

Even if he survived, he was spending the rest of his life in the fed pen. Probably not a bad outcome because his life and family would've been in danger, this guy has "flip and help the feds" written all over him - and if I know that, his handlers do too.
