He was taking the guns seized by security at the airport home, stockpiling them, and selling them on the black market to some very bad people

Same with drugs. He was using flights out of the airport to move those things throughout the country.

How many guns and drugs are seized at an airport? Knowing you will 100% be searched or scanned....

You make it sound like he was on Barry Seal's level.. I doubt it.

It's believed they were moving large amounts of drugs and guns through security and paying him - and a couple others - off in the process.

Who is they?

The ATF was actually doing their legit job in this instance.

I agree.. But i'd sure like to see a list of this large quantity of firearms he confiscated and stockpiled..It just doesn't add up.

If the ATF put a bunch of weapons and illegal drugs on a table and said they were that dude’s, would you then believe everything they said?

As to the folks who say ATF should have grabbed him while he was at work, that’s his home field, there are plenty of innocents there, he had probably planned for that potential interdiction happening at his work and the ATF didn’t know who there (at the airport) might be in cahoots with him and tip him off beforehand or be his active ally in an arrest scenario at the airport.

The home raid was not a perfect solution, it probably was merely the best solution of all the not great options.
