Then he was derelict the law is clear. He had authority to do this. He did not need Pelosi or Bowser to throw him cover

He could have said " We have actionable intelligence that a large number of Bozos will be in DC for the rally and it suggests that they will go to the Capitol and possibly disrupt official proceedings....as a result I am activating the DC National guard for added security"

HE DID NOT NEED BOWSER OR PELOSI TO AGREE! He could have done it unilatelly and it would have been 100% legal. Apparently reading comprehension on the Plains is not emphasized.

Which law specifically authorizes this? Unless specifically authorized, by law, the President cannot deploy the national guard without permission. That is clear.
