Yeah, most of this stuff applies to younger women. In my mind I am always thinking of younger women when I write my observations about American women, those who are still pre-starting a family or single moms who want older men to pay for some other dude's children. Older everyday women (with some glaringly nauseatingly exceptions), in my experience are free of the worst of this cultural virus.
