We got the opposite half of the bracket from USCe, which is ideal. Everything else extends from that major plus.
USCe understandably gets paired with lowest other #1 in Texas, lowest #2 in ND and lowest #3 in Oreg st.
We weren’t getting the lowest 1 in Texas, so it’s either Iowa or usc. It’s a toss up which is tougher, but I think we match up better with Iowa
We weren’t getting the lowest 2 in ND. I’d rather UCLA than Stanford or Ohio st
None of the 4s scare me. But they did give us a 5 that’s tricky in Colorado. If they get past Iowa, I like our chances in a rematch though
Bottom line, if you want the opposite half of the bracket from USCe — we do — then you get the trickier half

It's true - if you goal is the NC, then as a 3-seed, no matter what you would expect to face a 6-seed, a 2-seed, then three 1-seeds to win the NC. It is the order that you face them. In LSU's case, the order would be UCLA, Iowa, USC, then South Carolina.
Of course, the less impressive those teams, are the more likely they would be upset before facing them.
