I would say the opposite. You seem to have had a great experience with their warranty department and I will say that I have had awful times with them. I wouldn't buy another pair due to the service department. They want about 10-15 dollars handling fee when they look at them and they always tell you some bullshite about needing new lenses. I had a lense that was chipped and scratched due to the rubber melting away between the frame and lens and they charged me 75 to replace lenses and then they put the wrong lenses in them.

Not since Luxottica bought them in 2020. The warranty is also changed. Now it’s only 1 year. But if you bought them before 2020 they will honor the lifetime.
Overall Luxottica is terrible to work with though and everything they buy, the quality goes down.
