He was 3rd fiddle for the Fins in the WR group, but he’s not terrible. Stepped up when needed. Could do a lot worse for a WR3/4/5 depending on draft and how you rate Perry.

Saints going to try to replace the stars via use of an aggregate of has-beens and wanna-bes. What Wilson gives the Saints is a guy that gets on base.

Yeah, Justin Jefferson to the Saints is a totally realistic expectation. Shame on Loomis for not making that happen.

I kept saying over and over we needed to draft Jefferson that yearr in the draft threads. Only if Loomis would have listened…..

I wonder how the Saints got into this bind. Have no fear, with the talent the Saints have gathered, they will find a way to be 4-9, then go on a furious and meaningless run to just miss the playoffs and avoid getting one of those really high draft picks.

There is no bind. There is you being a fricking idiot complaining about signing 4th string players. Basketball is more your speed, radio. Stick to what you know and go back to dribbling

He’s a nice depth signing. I’m more than fine with Olave, Shaheed, and A.T. Perry as the top 3 WRs. He can fill in at any one of their positions if they get hurt.

We have potential stars at WR already on the roster that are also young. This is just a depth signing.

6'2" 200lbs 6 year vet. Fins signed him to a 3 year 22 mil contract. Seems Ok for what we can afford. Still waiting for some oline depth unless they feel really good about the youngters on the team. Mark Evens Kraemer, Penning, Saldiveri, and Young

These are some of the most useless moves I've ever seen. This is what we are delaying a rebuild for.

I'm 100% fine with the "moves" so far. Maybe its a shift towards facing facts and financial accountability, and the slow move towards a rebuild begins.

I can’t say if I’m fine with it until I see the cost. Giving this guy a 2 year deal makes me nervous. He’s basically never been a productive player ever.

Saints announced the deal 2 minutes ago but not the numbers, which tells me its a small deal.

if it was big his agent would have long ago leaked out the numbers.

Its got to be what a 5-7 mil 2 year with a couple mil guaranteed? The guy is a prototypical #3-#4 receiver.

Not a bad pickup for the vet minimum. We need bodies at WR. He can be WR 4.
