How strong is your stomach? My wife left some grilled chicken on the counter at our office from lunch the day before and I ate it the next day.

If its just been a day and the fridge was mostly left closed, you are likely fine.

Refrigeration hasn't been around long and we have just become weak stomached and high maintenance in regards to food. You will likely be perfectly fine, but most of the OT and all of the FDA would tell you to toss anything raw to be safe.
