Fridge power went out- how long is food good?

Thought it didn't feel that cold this morning before work, figured somebody left a door cracked. Got home this afternoon and fridge and freezer definitely not working. Let's assume it's been out 16 hours, is the stuff inside still okay or when has it been too long?

open it every 15 minutes to check the temperature inside.....

To give you a rule of thumb for restaurants it is dead if you leave it in the temperature danger zone, 40-140, for 4 hours

I'd at least throw out any processed sandwich meat, that crap goes bad fast. Ice is the answer.
