So you're telling me that offshore drilling isn't potentially dangerous for the environment... and for the workers on the platforms? It is, and Deepwater Horizon simply foreshadows what could happen in the future.

The Federal licensed petroleum engineers approved a risky cost cutting well design which no other major company used. Texaco had the lease and turned it back in after several attempts to drill wells. Dominion then had the lease and also turned it back in before even trying drill a well.

Well if we’re going by a standard of economic activities that are POTENTIALLY dangerous to the environment and workers, there’s a whole lot of shite we better shut down and never allow to take place again.
