Ya let me compare a 10.48 guy to west weeks. Said no one ever

So, how many football plays by a LBer depend on a 100m time? Oh yeah, it is 0.00000% of the plays. I thought I saw a 40 time of 4.7 but that seems too slow. But what some people get obsessed on is 100 yards/meters time. That really mostly affects WRers...OK, maybe Jayden Daniels. But I don't give a damn about 100m times for a LBer. What I'm interested in are 40 yard times, shuttle times, bench press numbers, his diagnosing of plays, etc.

BTW, I have no idea why you brought the race of the players into it. I used the Weeks brothers because they are current players, play LBer position, and I thought they were good comparisons. So you bringing race into as you did in the part I clipped from the quote was inappropriate, uncalled for, and ridiculous on its face.

How do you evaluate a player for a sport you’ve never even played? You’re a clown

You are missing the point & showing your arse.

It’s not about running 100m. It’s about getting a rare verified speed time. You recruit traits that cannot be coached & you develop a football player around those said traits. They do it at every level with success.

At the end of the day, a guy that can run a 10.48 at 200lbs is objectively fast, no matter what distance he is running. There is zero reason to put stock into the distance as a 16 or 17yr old kid.

White LBs have not really been a thing in the SEC football the last 25yrs. Put 2 & 2 together. West Weeks can barely see the field & Tyler Grubbs is goin to be selling insurance when his career is over. So yea that’s kind of an insult comparison.
