re: How are you feeling about the inevitable Trump v Biden rematch?

My financial situation has greatly improved under Biden. To be fair to Trumpf, Covid greatly diminished near all sectors.
Trump is a capitalist shill that gave the ultra wealthy a mega tax cut and did basically nothing for the working middle or lower classes. Which is pretty much the MO of the Republican Party over the last 40 years. Hard to fault him for that as he basically just advanced party policies.
But putting aside actual policies, let’s just look at Trump the man.
He’s an OG nepo-baby that grew up rich, never being able to identify with the working classes. He has used just awful language toward women and has been accused by many of them of sexual harassment or worse.
He’s slung mud at anyone who’s ever opposed him. He’s not honorable. He’s old as shite and arguably showing the same mental decline as Biden. He’s been indicted how many times now? He’s an ultra nepotist and he’s out for revenge against a system that did its job and kept him from assuming office under factually false pretense. He incited an insurrection(and failed) and. He. Just. Kind of. Sucks otherwise.
The other guy sniffs kids but at least I’ve never been doing better financially under him.
ETA: oh and Trump had absolutely no clue what a foreign policy was before he took office and it showed.

That’s the response I was looking for. I might have to re consider voting for Joe. You summed it up great. Thank you. Definitely leaning towards Joe even though 75% is total bullshite

Secure border, energy independence, cut regulations, rebuilt military, stateside manufacturing increase, lowest unemployment, Groceries and gas being half the cost in 2018 versus 2024 yeah that does nothing for the middle class. Have another drink Lahey.

I don't disagree with everything but his tax cuts helped me, a very middle class dad with kids. Obama ruined me, with Obama Care. My insurance premiums tripled, deductible from 500 to 4,000. My insurance became my biggest bill under Obama. Trump I at least got about $60-70 dollars a month tax cut. I ain't rich, he helped me though. Groceries, were cheap, gas, etc.
I do agree he shouldn't have signed Covid relief but white liberals and RINOS wanted small businesses to shut down. When people can't pay bills, half of America, guess you have to do something. White liberals in congress pushed Covid relief, Trump signed, big mistake on his part.
You take away white liberals and Rinos, our country survives Covid pretty well. I think our border should be more secure also.

I have to say it’s quite astonishing that you could look at the plethora of foreign policy failures of the Biden regime over the last three plus years and still think it’s Trump who didn’t know what he was doing.

Now speak on the Democratic Party keeping most of the African Americans in this country on the plantation for much longer than 40 years. LBJ destroyed the African American family unit, and it’s been down hill since. Promise people something, and surprisingly the government don’t come through. Now we wonder why such a small percentage of the population causes a lot of the problems.
