Take this crap over to tRant where there are more low IQ posters to help you fit in better.
Cool post. LSU is getting awesome players. I’m happy about it, and also happy that BK is here and we didn’t get stuck with Freeze or Napier. But ND is also getting great players, and I was told BK couldn’t do that at ND. There is no “angle” to my post, no agenda, this was pretty straight forward: I was stunned when I saw how well ND was recruiting and wanted to know why.
I do not know why this pissed so many people off but at least I have a good idea of what pisses off other fans from now on. I don’t know what my IQ is, but I do know the average IQ is higher than the number of brain cells in your head.

Their classes since he left are an avg of 2 spots higher than when he was there. Their avg player rating is about the same
The positions they recruit well and the positions they struggle recruiting are the same
You have no fricking clue what you are talking about and should leave this board

In the 2023-2025 classes so far, ND has ZERO 5-star players in any of those classes. BK has been able to reel in 6 in that same frame here. ND hasnt landed an on3 industry 5-star in over a decade. Imagine that EVER flying at LSU. Now obviously BK was the coach there for most of that, but what has Freeman done to remedy that? Zero in 2023, zero in 2024 and zero out of 18 commits in 2025 thus far.
ND would KILL to get 6 5-star players in a 3 year consecutive span in recruiting. They just dont attract that kind of talent there on even close to a consistent occasion. There are players an ND coach has to overlook even if they are super talented for a lot of reasons a coach at LSU doesnt have to overlook the same said player, which eliminates some top talent for them to recruit right off the bat. It's reasons like this why BK left ND for LSU. He CAN recruit better talent here than he (or freeman can) at ND. Especially top tier talent.
You're welcome. Stop trying to make something different out of reality. BK has recruited better classes here than Freeman at ND and has attracted more top end talent. Due to reasons above.

He felt he couldn't get the quality of players on campus at ND to compete on an even playing field against other top teams. Please understand that internet rankings =/= real life. But even if you think they do then Notre Dame player rankings average does not come close to LSU's in any ranking service.
In Brian Kelly's last recruiting class (2021) at Notre Dame the recruits' average distance from campus was 832.6 miles.
Other years:
2020: 1088.5 mi.
2019: 785.2 mi.
2018: 750.1 mi.
2017: 902.3 mi.
That trend continues under Freeman:
2022: 647.4 mi.
2023: 645.4 mi.
2024: 624.5 mi.
2025: 795.9 mi
Since Kelly has been at LSU:
2022: 231.7 mi
2023: 451.3 mi
2024: 189.3 mi.
2025: 209.2 mi. (so far)
This also has the added bonus (at least in theory) that local players are less likely to enter the transfer portal to play further away from home. With the number of Louisiana players transferring back home being further evidence.
Recruiting is a whole lot different in Louisiana than Indiana.

quote:bro stop lying. You had an obvious agenda. On top of that agenda, you're dumb as hell to boot as ND has not recruited better since Kelly left. Three of Kelly's last 5 classes BEFORE FREEMAN EVEN COACHED DEFENSE AT NOTRE DAME, were top 10 classes. The class Kelly and Freeman help build finished 7th. After Kelly, Freeman had the 12th ranked class and then the 9th ranked class. All of this is according to 247 composite. Just to give you another service.

Basically put, you're a lying, agenda driven idiot.

The longer this thread goes on the more obvious it is that you are not an LSU fan. Just go ahead and out yourself now. Aggie? Gump? SadUCFKnight??
