As someone in the auto business, I’m on the fence about them. Failing a vehicle for a check engine/emission light is just stupid. THAT is a joke and should be removed to get a sticker. Im saying that knowing it will take away business from me.
On the other hand, I think people here don’t understand how unsafe a lot of cars on the road are. Too many people are careless or just plain lazy taking care of 70 MPH 1/2 ton death machines they live out of a majority of their life.
BALD tires, no wiper blades, no head or tail lights, no brakes. Too many examples I could give of cars that DO NOT need to be on the road. That would be my focus for stickers but the punishment would be harsher if your shite is unsafe for the roads.
