re: Anyone dealt with Mono as an adult?

I had it and was misdiagnosed and given antibiotics, which I came to understand later is not recommended. Absolute miserable experience. Zero energy and worst sore throat of my life. Days later, I finally got diagnosed correctly and was prescribed prednisone. Not shitting when I say I felt 95% better within 30 minutes. I've never experienced such a dramatic effect from a medication in my life. Doctor warned that it was possible/likely that I could regress after finishing the steroid, but I was fine.
