Why isn't there more outrage about violence on television?

Americans' desensitization to gruesome violence on television and film has always sort of been a mystery to me, especially in today's world and at a time when moral decay-related outrage is the big trend.
We've got moral decay-related outrage about all sorts of seemingly random things these days, but it's all quiet on the violence on TV and in film front.
It's incredible how most people generally are fine with Pat and Vanna saying good night and everything's wholesome and family-oriented on CBS and the next thing you know there's a decapitated woman in a big-city alleyway and the coroner's van and TV detectives just rolled up on the scene.
Always seemed like quite the transition in programming

Millions of people watch violent television daily and are fine. We shouldn't censor content for everyone because a few loons want to blame someone or something else for their crimes.

Because it's not real.
All of your wholesomeness isn't curing assholes. TV isn't creating psychopaths.

The 80’s were way more violent on TV and 80’s kids are GOAT

How about the sex?
I mean, I keep falling off.
