re: Is Trump a faithful, practicing Christian?

quote:You're entitled to your opinion, but it's my vote, and my vote represents an endorsement. I believe everyone will be held accountable for all that they do one day, including the votes they cast, so I need to do all things--including who I choose vote for--for the glory of God (1 Cor. 10:31). If I'm abstaining from voting, I'm abstaining from voting. My lack of a vote for Trump is absolutely not a vote (or a half of a vote) for Biden. It's a lack of a vote or endorsement.
This is dumb, and disingenuous. God can and does use non-christians to further his work. I don't know if Trump is a Christian or not, but he absolutely protects our rights as believers and also the constitution. To sit this out is a half vote for Biden. Dumb.
I voted for trump in 2016 and 2020, but I've since come to the conviction that I cannot cast my vote for "the lesser of two evils" any longer (even if there are qualities I like about one of those "evils"), but should only give my tacit endorsement to representatives who I believe are giving honor to Jesus Christ as King of kings and Lord of lords, both with their public profession of faith as well as their wisdom and behaviors that typify godly leaders.
While God is glorified in all sorts of circumstances (as the story of Joseph in Genesis teaches us), it's not the responsibility of the Christian to support enemies of Christ and hypocrites (those who claim to be Christians yet live lives totally devoid of the work of the Spirit of God and obedience to Christ, their Lord) in the hope that God will bless it, but to vote for leaders who expressly seek to rule wisely and justly as ones who acknowledge that they will give an account to the Lord, Jesus Christ.
There is much more I could say regarding my position, but I'll refrain for now.

You do have that right, & I respect that. How do you think you would have reacted to Paul?
Trump has done that on many occasions. More so than any other president in my lifetime.
He often quotes the bible at every rally, speaks about what God has done for him, & fights for the sanctity of Christian values in this country.
Trump is a flawed man, as was many men God has used. Whether he is a Christian, I don't really know, but he is on the right side of things and has asked that you pray for him.

You sound like a pretentious nut.
Jesus ain’t coming back for you to vote on.
So guess what? Your choice will always be an imperfect person. What skeletons are in your closet?
