Most of the homeless are centered in the Downtown area along with The Haight, and the Mission District. The outer neighborhoods like The Sunset, Richmond, Lake Merced and St. Francis Wood are very nice and safe. This is why the average home price is around $1.3 million. San Francisco will rebound.

This is what most people don't realize. The homeless and all the bullshite is mostly confined to specific areas. I have felt more at danger in New Orleans and Baton Rouge than I ever have in California. Especially Orange County. They don't mess around there, at least not in the Beach Cities where the rich OC conservatives live. It's in the top several most conservative areas in the country.
