If Toyota falls then we are doomed.
Buuuut, I don't trust youtubers where their revenue is tied to how many views they get. What makes a more popular video, tacoma has catastrophic failure or tacoma performs about as expected for a mid-sized 4wd pickup?
Eta, if this is an actual thing, then those problems are going to be very apparent among the new tacos. Spinning on slippery rocks isn't all the much strain on a drivetrain.

I’m sure a related video was how much some YouTuber loves his new Tacoma. I’m sure there are great reviews 11 miles into ownership
