iRacing v. Gran Turismo v. Forza

Hello, everyone. I am looking to get into online racing. What is the general consensus of iRacing v. Gran Turismo v. Forza Motorsport? iRacing is very attractive to me because it has the world's most famous tracks. However, Gran Turismo has much cheaper barriers to entry (as well as some famous tracks too). I don't know much about Forza.

Just from a barrier to entry perspective if I'm mostly interested in the cars on something like Gran Turismo, I probably stick with that.
If you want to try a bunch of different series, iRacing is a TON of fun and you can really deep dive into that world if you want to.
I liked Forza more than GT in my experience, but I have a playstation now so I'll be getting GT. Both are great games.

GT if you already have a PS5
Forza if you already have an X or decent PC
iRacing if you have the money for it..
all of the above will still require +/- $400 wheels and pedals
My son uses his Quest every now and then for a headset on Forza and its pretty nice..The quality on a TV is great too, but if you are looking for realisim, etc, iRacing is probably your want
