Put out the weed & grass stopper (Dimension pre-emergent) ASAP and water it in.

I’d wait until April 1-15 to apply the fertilizer at 1/2 lb nitrogen/1000 sq ft (3 1/3 lbs of 15-0-15 per 1000 sq ft). Second application in mid June/mid-July.

Ideally the centipede should be in active growth. I like to wait until I’ve cut the lawn grass (not weeds) twice before fertilizing. I have a centipede front lawn. Centipede takes a little longer to green up than St Augustine.

After my scalp, my Bermuda is in full blown growing mode. Almost all green now which is crazy to me. Think it's safe to drop some fertilizer down in the next week or two?

Crawdude does this schedule also apply to St. Aug?
