Is the strike zone as tight this year as it was last year? Last year was just ridiculous until the post season. This year doesn’t seem as ridiculous as last year at this time.
Saying that, this years pitching depth does look a lot better.

Is will continue to rise in College Baseball like it has in MLB. It isn’t because the pitchers are better. It is the “Weaver Brand” of baseball. I absolutely hate it. People will boast about runs scored being up and I get it from an overall perspective but when you play high to very high end pitching, you can’t manufacture runs because you can’t “hit”.

The note this year is that our bullpen is much improved and sooner or later our hitting is going to skyrocket. We could be another juggernaut this year. Be nice to have another Skenes in the mix, but that may never happen again in our lifetimes.
