It’s 100% not a tournament

WTF are you talking about?

ETA: searched, copied, and pasted the meaning of the word 'tournament' for the illiterate dorks.:

a tournament generally refers to a specific format of competition, where competitors engage in a series of matches to determine the winner(s)

There was no specific format to this “tournament”.

A format would be single elimination, double elimination, round robin, etc. Which one of those did we have this weekend? Anyone have a bye in this “tournament”?

No seeding, no brackets, we didn’t play everyone, no championship game.

If it were an actual tournament you know like the SEC tourney or NCAA Regional, you would ghave seen TBA on the future schedules because in an actual tournament, you don’t know who you are playing in the next round. That is determined on the field.

To call this a tournament is a disservice to actual tournaments

We “won the tournament” on a run differential metric for God’s sake.

Yall call it what you want if it makes you feel better about yourselves
