So you were a minor. Jack Martinez is not a minor, and he simply got his jersey grabbed. Neither should have acted out the way they did, but to call for two coaches to be fired over it is completely stupid overreaction.

All that needs to happen is they work it out to Deggs’s satisfaction, then hopefully Jack goes on to have a great season for us.

You seem, like the University of Tennessee, to forget that the coach works for the university, a place of higher learning. Is this appropriate behavior for someone who works at any university?

Is this the type of education ULL (or Tennessee) wants to advertise?

Would it be different if this type of exchange happened in a classroom? Whether you want to accept it or not, the school's athletic fields are (or certainly should be) an extension of that university's classroom and curriculum.

The overreaction was clearly committed by the two coaches, who are paid by the university to know better.
