Any college prospects we should keep an eye out for? Who are the state’s top players?

I will take Ruston to upset Zachary. They were young last year and some of those kids played on the state championship football team in Dec. Also will take ASH to upset STM. It is almost March time for some madness.

I was thinking the same thing last Friday when the playoffs kicked off.
Been to a couple of games already. Both were very good, competetive games. depending on who makes it, I may go to the Top28.

My upsets are Ruston over Zachary and Archbishop Hannan over Madison Prep. Hannan is finally healthy after dealing with injury to several key players. They play smothering, aggressive defense and if they can stay out of foul trouble, they will pull off a close win at Maddison Prep.
Slidell and Ponchatoula is an intriguing matchup too. If Ponchy is struggling to make outside shots, I believe Slidell has an opportunity to pull off an upset too.

They play basketball in Louisiana?

Kam is headed for Tulane. When he graduates. I still think of him as a little kid. My son played with his big brother Greg at LCA.
Greg is playing in Europe now for Horsens IC in Denmark.
I haven't seen Kam play in high school. His brother Greg was probably the best high school player I have seen in person.

Not if we suck at it

Byron had a hell of a run of talent in those years. Galen Alexander, the Ledoux twins, his son Caleb and Greg were all legit D1 guys

I hope they find a way to move the top 28 back to Baton Rouge when the new arena is built.

Watching Ruston several times this year...ehhhhh. It's basketball and anything is possible. If Zachary is deserving of their seed in any way, I think they run Ruston off the court.

Natchitoches Central gets a good draw after a first round scare by 2 over Fontainebleau. Looks like they'll make top 28 since Denham missing a couple starters.
