This is why it’s hard for me to call myself a Republican. There’s no common sense anywhere in politics on either side.
How difficult is it to find middle ground? We’re going to sacrifice the entire coastline of the state and put millions at risk so fat arse Billy nungesser and his friends don’t have to travel an extra couple miles to fish.

I was curious as to whether or not Nungesser's house on Hwy 23 ever sold, so I went to the assessor's site to look. He "sold" all of his properties in late 2022 to BOLSU PCF, LLC with a mailing address in Kemah, TX (same address as Onsite Concrete Solutions). His name is not listed as the owner of a single property in Plaquemines Parish anymore. I assume it had something to do with his run for governor, but I don't understand why he kept everything in his name through his first term as Lt Gov and then changes it all of a sudden. Either way, he's a shitbag.
