Actually the situations before 2011 are not relevant. In 2011 the new CBA put limits on rookie contracts in both money and years. Last years #1 pick Bryce Young got less than Sam Bradford the #1 pick in 2010. It’s also a 4 year contract with a 5th year club option for first rounders and players cannot get an extension until after the 3rd year. This is a huge advantage for teams with a stud QB on a rookie deal which is wasted by sitting a QB for multiple years like Green Bay.
Maybe you should learn some football stuff instead of just regurgitating lists of teams that drafted or acquired a back up QB

Are you trying to argue that teams drafting young qb’s to replace old qb’s hasnt happened throughout nfl history, recent, 2000’s, and beyond??
A groomed replacement aint new.
