I've gone from mostly out to fully out after I ran the On/Off defensive numbers last week. My eye test says that he's been passable when he tries. The On/Off DRtg numbers says that he must not try most of the time.

If I'm reading these numbers correctly it really shows how important Herb's defense in that he plays many minutes with these other four and that drag down his On defensive numbers to something still respectful. Also, for the complaining we do about Willie at least Herb Off numbers indicate that things don't blow up defensively when needing to rest Herb.
