Flights into Texas are usually inexpensive, especially to Houston or Dallas. It may be something that you consider if you can find a deal to your liking.

You'll need to compare your local market to pricing in Texas (as an example) to determine if you should consider this option. Try, if you are shopping for used vehicles, keep it as apples to apples as you can with the type of vehicle you are interested in. Otherwise, you won't truly be able to compare.

If it is a new truck, it is much easier to comparison shop online, before you have any serious discussions with a sales person.
