We have several people here running CAD on Precision 7560s for the last year (these are 15-inch machines) and none have complained about heating issues yet.
I'm a long-time laptop gamer, and have had 17-inch systems before. I love the screen size but they can be awkward and weighty bastards. If you're really needing a bigger screen size with that sort of mobility, I would suggest looking at a 16-inch in whatever you get.
