What is the mechanism for pre-‘em? Does the average homeowner apply it at the right time? Yes mowing provides good control of early spring weeds, probably provides more benefit than the weed and feed most people use on their home lawn,

What is the mechanism? The seed germinates and the germinated weed takes in soil moisture that has the active ingredient into it and dies.
Does the average homeowner? No clue. I’m talking on the home and garden where people have already asked the question of is it time to put down a pre em. Myself and several other knowledgeable posters have already answered that question for them.
