You have hog hunting operations here in Oklahoma paying pretty good money for mature trapped hogs that they can turn loose in their high fenced land.

I posted an article in this thread from Texas Monthly about the feral hog epidemic. It touched on the fact that hog hunters were against ridding Texas of hogs. However, the hog hunters are hunting a relatively small area, compared to the rest of the state. Most extermination efforts will have little to do with hunters.

I don't think anyone expects the hogs to be totally exterminated. I think most people would be happy with just reducing the numbers, or even just stopping the growth - which even that seems impossible.
