I drive it everyday and it was in terrible condition, especially right by I-12. There were holes and bumps around there that could mess your car up.


that being said, i'd rather drive around those bumps or simply deal with fixing them constantly, as opposed to waiting 2 fricking years to redo the road.
Why on earth is this project going to take 2 years?

It was really bad. People who “don’t know why they are redoing it” must not really drive it much.

Thats the whole project. The two middle lanes from I12 to Bluebonnet will be done by the end of April. Then it should be 3 lanes for the rest of the project.

They couldn’t completely rip out the outside lanes because of all the businesses and homes. So they will alternate sides and only tear up a small outside section at a time. It increases the amount of time for the whole project, but will leave an extra lane open.
