Took me a long time to realize it’s dumb to get angry.
Doesn’t help the situation at all
Makes people around you more irritable
Going to get over it eventually so why not do it right away.
Take the emotion out of the situation and look at it for what it is. Why let thoughts popping in your head, that may or may not be valid, control your mood?

Kill someone brutally. Cures it for a few months

That’s cool. Maybe I just enjoy life to much these days to let anger control me. When I drank I got angry for the dumbest reasons. Now that I don’t I am much more mellow.

Disagree. Honking at the MFer that has been sitting at the green light and hasn't released their brake for 3-4-5 seconds is helping society. Do I think about it ten seconds after it happens, no, not once I pass their dumb, passive m#$*$ assses.
A lot of people get angry, because they people around them have no consideration for how their actions, or inactions, impact the thousands of people a day they are somehow around. They just don't care. Hence, rage.
I would advise you start carrying a firearm. It will teach you a line you won't cross over certain stuff. Use your horn. Nobody honks, so we just sit there, when there is a blinking yellow turn arrow, and the person and the front of the line is doing FA when it's clear to turn, because they're texting... And the light turns red, nobody gets through. Great. Thanks, because you liked the picture of your cousin, you dumb SoB.
It's not about you, it's about the total farking morons around you. Don't excuse their incompetence, driving or otherwise. If you suck at life, you suck, and you keep getting away from it because nobody calls you on it. A car I was next to on a 20m drive today ran FIVE stop signs in a residential hood, and didn't even slow down. You know why they did it? Probably because nobody honked, flipped them off, etc. There is a lack of societal enforcement (social shaming.)
Before I started carrying, I spent more time cleaning spit off of the inside of my windshield than I did the outside. Carrying taught me a level of control.

Sounds silly but what helps me is this: every second I spend being angry is a second I’m granting attention to someone to which they’re not entitled.
If I care about you, then you can make me angry. Everyone else? WGAF

A hundred years from now no one is going to give a shite.
So, why bother.
Try progressive relaxation exercises at home, once learned very helpful.
Now, get off my fricking lawn.

I do my best to leave the situation and isolate myself where I can vent out my anger without anyone else seeing or hearing it. I will often scream into pillows, hit my steering wheel, or throw non-fragile objects (especially pillows and sweatshirts). The idea is just to get where I can vent safely and do so. Sometimes, I just need a few minutes, but sometimes I'm angry enough that I can't really effectively get rid of all of the rage quickly and have to exercise or play a malicious video game or something to try to calm down.

But you'll be dead. Stupidity means I can spend over an hour a week on a road longer than I need to. Because you oxygen thieves are doing 27 in a 40, and costing me lights, etc. Hours a month, that you subtract from my life, and *thousands* of other people on Houston roads, but you gotta click on Insta? That's weeks or months of my life which don't need to be wasted, but will, because your feed is more important than the thousands of others on I-10.

It's a message board. Stalking? lol. A bit ironic that you're doing this in a thread about anger.
Go ahead and RA me now. Stop being so fricking sensitive. I don't have a dog in the fight between you two & your alters, but FML. It's about the conversation and camaraderie.

What did you edit there, friend?
Also…
If they allow you to have your multiple alters at a time I doubt any rules are in play anymore.
Also… lol to your stalking comment. You’re the one who has been online stalking and harassing for years. And you do easily show who you are pretty much every time.
Shouldn’t you be sleeping now? Or have your demons gotten in the way of being a productive member of society again?

I feel pretty, oh so pretty. I feel pretty & witty & gay. And I pity anyone who isn't me today.

I'll pray for you. Good night.

For me, the road stuff is not too challenging. Years ago I started saying a little prayer for anyone stuck on side of interstate, & that evolved into a prayer for drivers that cut me off. Definitely changes my point of view in the moment.
As to the bigger things, I finally pursued a longstanding dream to ride horses at 49 yo, after finding myself standing in the yard furious in a call with an incompetent colleague.
Realized I needed something more than yoga! And what joy that decision has brought— guarantees slowing down, breathing, fresh air, even humor.

Is this why you chose your particular username-anger?

Yeah. I don't get too worked up over much anything. Someone sitting at a traffic light gets a beep of the horn but my mild annoyance at the situation is gone by the time we get through the light.
The only things I get more than mildly frustrated are recurring events around me that are beyond my control. I had a lady I worked with that daily, seemed like her goal was to lie or fabricate how our systems worked in high level meetings. She had one of those "talk over you" personality types so when you went to correct her, she just became more belligerent and talked over you. I generally let her go on then continued to prove her wrong after the fact. Getting angry in the moment doesn't lead to logical thought processes.
